Lieblingsfilm nach europäischem Land: Monaco – welcher hätte gewinnen sollen?

Hello there!

Yesterday, I’ve asked you for your favorite movie set in Monaco (plot-wise) and if I’m strictly going by the upvotes (minus the given downvotes), the winner would be ***To Catch a Thief***. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen it (but it is on my watchlist). All I know, i, that in the german distrubution, the movie was titled as *Über den Dächern von Nizza* (‘Above the rooftops of Nice’). Therefore, I’ve always thought that the movie would take place in France.

Especially since I don’t want to spoil myself too much, I’ve only read short summaries, but they don’t indicate that the movie would be set mostly in Monaco. I am therefore very much dependent on your help here and would appreciate any attempt at clarification.
