She won’t have too much problem winning the byelection, but will likely be a drag on the party as a whole, since downtown Ottawa progressives aren’t exactly that popular in the rest of the province.
It’s interesting how Ottawa is the part of the province which is drifting the most leftward, and the only real region the ONDP can hope to make gains next election.
