What happens to recalled vehicles? Do they get fixed and resold?

As if EV are the only vehicle that ever gets recalled. Cars are a very complicated machines and the humans that build them do occasionally make mistakes.

A more accurate title is Nearly 46,000 Hyundai Mortor Group EVs recalled…

This is really old news. Like the recall happened over the summer and I’ve already had the recall fixed for like 2 months.

I’ve had this exact issue with my Tesla. You get a bunch of warnings, you’d have to very deliberately ignore them, and maybe cause a crash if you were turning left across traffic or something and it chose that moment to stop? It’s gradual, it rachets down how fast you can drive and it’s beeping like mad at you the whole time. It’s annoying, and potentially could cause a safety issue, but IMO it’s a failure mode that they handle well.

Tesla has to push an over the air update….every news article “Tesla announces Brutally MASSIVE RECALL and is SLAMMED by experts”
Non Tesla has a legit issue….. New article “EVs recalled”
