He faces the same in any treaty member unless the country openly states that their word is worthless and any commitment they make cannot be trusted (looking at Hungary).

Doesn’t he have blanket diplomatic immunity? I believe the same applies to Putin

why are places advertising that they will arrest someone if they show up, just makes that person avoid the area and continue to do what they may be accused of.

He probably wouldn’t risk it in any country, even in those that stated they wouldn’t arrest him. I mean, why take the chance?

    5. Whats the point? He does whats necessary, anything else is just prolonged suffering for Israelis and Palestinians. Should he just stand by and watch while the terrorists do whatever they like?

I wonder what would happen if Netanyahu did actually get arrested in the UK?

I’m just so tired of the words “indicates,” “suggests,” and “could”

    8. The whole idea is ridiculous. it would be the FIRST time a country’s leader has been arrested to be put on trial by the ICC.

I don’t believe Britain would go through with it. At most Britain would tell Netanyahu to wait to visit Britain until the ICC retracts its warrant.

    9. Can we just put him, Putin and Trump in a cannonball and fire them into the sun?

Lol my ass. UK is subservient to the US, and that would not fly.

I’m pissed that not enough of storm was kicked for Mongolia not arresting Putin when they’re a signed member of the ICC. Either cancel his visit or arrest him, do neither needs consequences for nations that don’t follow the duties they have signed to do.

This makes me miss Boris Johnson. The UK tells the UN that the resolution is unfair because it doesn’t require the terrorist group (Hamas) to release hostages after a year. Russia and China respond that they know it’s unfair. Then the UK votes in favor of the resolution.

I didn’t know Hamas had control over the UK. How the mighty has fallen. Just make Douglas Murray president already.

    14. I think it’s far more likely that they would refuse him travel, rather than risk the international incident.

Netanyahu who simply is defending Israel is facing arrest, yet the actual war criminal Vladimir Putin is able to invade, and murder hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians at the hands of an actual war gets to walk freely with no consequences

Absolutely insane – Israel is a fundamental partner within the Western Alliance. At this inflection point in history focus on the evil to your East……………………….

“Netanyahu, you old slag, you’re under arrest for bombing Gaza and that.”

“You sold me the bombs though.”

The US can’t stop the UK or France from arresting Netanyahu but they can make them wish they hadn’t. It’s all theater, Europe isn’t willing to rock the boat that hard.

No 10? Before everyone chastises me too lazy to read the article

Will arresting him start a war or is that only when you try to arrest Putin?

    21. Julian Assange exposes war crimes and gets arrested. Actual dude does actual war crimes and may or may not get arrested if he enters UK. We live in some pretty unbelievable times don’t we?
