      Hillary was the superior candidate between the two but Kamala barely had any time to campaign.

      Ahh I see. Now there’s been 2 women. Must be time to compare them against each other.

      Nevada is the obvious states where Hillary did better by both Biden and Harris. Biden won Nevada by smaller margin, but higher percentage of the vote, while Kamala lost Nevada for democrats for first time since Bush carried it in 2004. Also Florida where Hillary lost by 1, 2 or 1,3 points, Biden lost by over 3 and Kamala by over 13.

      Fun fact – Hillary lost Florida but won Miami Dade by 30%+ difference. Kamala lost Miami Dade by over 10%. Swing of 40+%.

      And Hillary had racked huge margin out of California as well. Better than Biden I think. By 1 point margin better. Not bad for “disliked” candidate.

      As a Washingtonian, this is not exactly surprising to me. HRC and the DNC more broadly did a really good job of alienating progressive and leftist voters (including but not limited to Bernie supporters), which make up a huge part of PNW politics. I honestly don’t recall HRC being that popular other than among like the pink pussy hat girls.

      H Clinton did better in every state with “real” electoral counts, whether red or blue — CA, IL, TX, NY, PA, FL, OH, MA…

      Shocking to me that Harris did better anywhere. Hillary was a legit candidate. I met her and saw her speak a few times, she wasn’t afraid to be heard and wasn’t afraid to speak extemporaneously. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to have a fair debate with her.

      Interesting map. Would like if it was color graded by how much better each candidate performed. Was it by 10 points or 0.001?
