For those who didn’t know…Ukraine has a Jewish president Zelenskiy, and also had simultaneously (for a short period of time) a Jewish prime minister, Volodymyr Groysman. It was the only country in Europe and second in the world where this occurred.

ruzzia organised a pogrom but it’s only 14% antisemitic? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

There’s probably nothing quite like having a popular Jewish leader and serving alongside Jewish volunteers in the trenches for your country’s survival to give any anti-semite a reason to rethink their beliefs.

Is anyone really on the fence about this?
The only arguing this point are Russians, and no amount of statistics will persuade them.

How can Ukraine be antisemitic if we have pretty big Jewish communities and one of their holy places (grave of famous rabbi in Uman)

I’m very glad that Ukraine is this tolerable but that’s not even half of Europe

Ukraine is also, as a matter of national history, shockingly open about their role in the Holocaust. It’s openly acknowledged, and with no hedging or excuses. That candor was *astounding* when I encountered it.

Because what is the difference? We are all people, we all had some shit in history, why can’t we live in peace with each other in the first ever time where it can be possible?

The data is 8 years ago, and doesn’t include whole Europe so kinda bad to claim the title without including all nations that is considered European. Though 5% very good thing, considering what was done in WW2, when populism and radical extremism was hight because of desperation and fear that people had after Holodomor and bolshevik repression.

I’m surprised Russia is at 14%. I would have thought they would be way WAY higher than that.
Victory to Ukraine and Victory to the heroes.
