      As a fan since Limelight, I’m gonna stop buying their albums until he’s fired. The company made a [statement](https://www.reddit.com/r/MADEIN_U/s/lU199lG77r) not even denying but basically saying no non-consentual stuff happened. I’m sorry but in what universe is a CEO assaulting a teenage girl under contract under his company ok? Even if she said yes (she didn’t) you shouldn’t be CEO after that.

      Edit: Also the company has control over Gaeun’s social media. They already made her account re-follow 143 Entertainment and the CEO, so if they try to post anything on there to diffuse this take it with a grain of salt. Anything on there may not be from Gaeun, but actually employees of the company.

      the more people will know and talk about, it will be better. from law view, does anyone know if members/parents can successfully sue company? i know parents demanded disbanding group, hopefully they will be successful

      Holy fuck. They’re not even denying the fact that *something* happened between the CEO and Gaeun…that is so messed up. Their statement only says **no sexual assault or no other sexual contact through force** happened. Fire that man immediately and get him to jail — PLEASE GET THOSE GIRLS OUT OF THERE ASAP.

      If what he said is really true from his perspective, that’s truly grooming behaviour. He thought she was consenting to being his gf for a day!? She’s 19! How old is this guy?! Countless girls have this treatment in Hollywood, I never expected to hear of it in Korea. Very sad.

      Remember y’all—All that stuff about Gaeun having a boyfriend is a distraction. All the stuff about her being “almost old enough” to know better is also a distraction. He should not have done this to her, and I can’t imagine who else has had to deal with this nasty behavior from him

      And remember, when there’s coercion or a huge power imbalance that consent may not be consent at all, specially when one of the parties is a fucking minor. 

      So even if she said yes the adult has the responsability to walk away from the situation.  Honestly I think the company is making bs to save the CEOs face and run it as if Gaeun was ok with it, which again, means nothing because she is a minor and cannot consent.  Also the fact this mf is the CEO of the company? Yeah, i don’t believe Gaeun wanted any type of relationship with this guy. 

       Also, wasn’t this the girl that was hit by a japanese host?

      This is beyond fucked up, I literally feel like throwing up. Even though I loved their debut so much I won’t be able to support them as long as that CEO is in the picture. I can’t even begin to figure out how the fuck someone like that can be in charge of a girl group. 

      I wonder how the other artists in the company (iKON) must be feeling over this, being blindsided like this is so awful.

      They need to get his ass in jail asap for the sake of the girls.

      Also, please don’t use this news as a way to throw shade to other girl groups like some people are doing on Twitter, that’s just bozo behavior.

      i posted this elsewhere so i’m reposting it here:

      i kinda really dislike how many people are making comments about their fav groups and idols under the same labels as if gaeun herself, the victim, is nonexistent. it’s completely fine and valid to worry about your favs possibly going through same or similar things but it shouldn’t take someone from a group you like being hurt for you to care and that’s kinda the vibe some of these comments are giving off to me. it’s important to hold space for the victim first.

      gaeun is so brave for coming forward about this and i sincerely hope she gets the justice, support, and psychological help she deserves after such horrific abuse.
