Liberals devastated to learn that Obama’s signature healthcare law was dreamed up by the same people who created Project 2025

This is just another reason why the 8 Northeastern states need to secede.

Massachusetts doesn’t need Trump trash coming here for socialized health care because they were too unintelligent to vote for their own best interests.

“Huh? If ACA is Obamacare, I want to keep it. I only wanted to get rid of BarackHusseinObamacare, which is what my orange god taught me to hear and boo every time he said his full name, to make me afraid of ‘the other’. Oh, I guess I should’ve paid more attention when John McCain (booooo! I can’t help myself) told that CroMAGA woman that Obama is a good man. What? Now you’re telling me that Trump tried to kill Obamacare in his first term, and John McCain (booooo!) saved it? I’m gonna have to do some of ‘my own research’ on that.”

According to an article in Newsweek, here’s how the idea for a false “news” network, capulating more on Angertainment than reality, began.

“If Fox News had a DNA test, it would trace its origins to the Nixon administration. In 1970, political consultant Roger Ailes and other Nixon aides came up with a plan to create a new TV network that would circumvent existing media and provide “pro-administration” coverage to millions. “People are lazy,” the aides explained in a memo. “With television you just sit — watch — listen. The thinking is done for you.” Nixon embraced the idea, saying he and his supporters needed “our own news” from a network that would lead “a brutal, vicious attack on the opposition.”

‘We live in a far different country today, thanks to the vision originally outlined in that 1970 memo, which Ailes realized decades later with Rupert Murdoch’s money. Fox News provides an alternative reality, providing daily talking points to Republican elected officials and policing them. Those who dare stand up to President Trump know they will be denounced as traitors on Fox, even if they’re war veterans with a Purple Heart on their chests. . .”

Why, after seeing Trumps first term, and knowing that he constantly lies, do people think he’ll actually do anything he says he will?

If he does remove the Affordable Care Act, and public education, and all the other things he says he’ll get rid of, then perhaps it’s time for the American citizenry to start asking why they bother paying taxes at all, and what representation or benefit they get from politicians, other than entertainment from their form of reality T.V.

Or is it all as long as the tea isn’t over-taxed?

  8. Okay, let’s assume they draw the lines and realize that Obamacare is the ACA … they aren’t going to write their congressperson or suddenly decide they will vote Democrat. That’s silly. They will shrug, assume the repeal will bring something better, or assume that they will be fine as long as (insert victimhood trope here).
