If it’s to make sustenance, it’s too mundane. It’s for women.

Add a competitive aspect to it, the concept of being famous – not for making something for sustenance, but for making something special for whatever subjective reason? Oh now it’s a men’s job.

For some reason, a lot of prejudices can be explained like that. It’s funny I was reading a post on r/TwoXChromosomes earlier today stating exactly that – the OP there just wanted to have fun, enjoy a work she likes, but men seem to specifically wish to make her experience miserable. I don’t really understand why myself, but comments explained it relatively like I put it above.
