If an Armenian says something about a Turk, it is 99% propaganda containing a cheap lie. I have never seen such a crybaby race in my life. Even Islamists are not as crybaby as these.

Those are just leftovers from the last war. They aren’t even settlements as far as I know, just military bases. And they will be resolved with peace deal along with the territories of Azerbaijan that Armenia still controls.I have a real hard time understanding why they make such a big deal out of this

  3. Due to the Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territories for the last 30 years (that whole region that’s red, internationally recognized by every country in the world as part of Azerbaijan), the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan is currently not demarcated. The borders changed over a dozen times during Soviet rule over this land, so where the borders end depends on which map you look at from the 1900s.

One thing is for sure though, that whole red area which is Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan, and has been occupied by Armenia for 30 years and I only heard celebration from them until we finally liberated it from them by force.

So when they complain about some tiny land that Azerbaijan stepped into, kindly request for them to sit down and stfu.

It is mostly true, but it ignores the Azerbaijani exclaves that are occupied by Armenia. Also, the maps shows entire Karabakh region as Artsakh, which is not correct.

  5. Excelt the fact they say Karabagd is invaded by Azerbaijan it’s pretty accuratr

Unfortunately theres no part of arm*nia that’s occupied by Azerbaijan. Karabakh is reclaimed, not occupied.

Just check the UN maps of both countries, then look at what Western newspapers said about the conflict in the 1990s.

*All these non-Azeri sources from the moment events happened in the 1990s, but Armenians will look you dead in the eyes and claim these are Azeri propaganda and at every chance, they will remind you that they are CHRISTIAN. (Because obviously christians gud, muslims bəd).*

  8. Just open Google Maps and see which territories belong to Azerbaijan and which to Armenia.

Armenia is cursed to have neighbors like these honestly, they massacred Armenians in Baku in the 80s they did the same throughout the history and now they claim all lands. And the new trend is to destroy all Armenian historical sites and/or rebrand them as Albanian. If only Armenia had half the oil money Azerbaijan has and no “allies” by the name of Russia.

If you want a real historical view, you should look back beyond 1991, but not much further back – since arguing “ancient” history is a fucking waste of time and brain cells. What matters most, in understanding this conflict and those maps, is Soviet and post-Soviet history of Artsakh, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.

Here’s an article written by an Armenian, based on recorded facts. There are links and citations to the historical facts in question, although the article is clearly “pro-Armenian” and includes the author’s interpretations and opinions.

What’s important here is that the facts are facts. They’re recorded. They’re cited.

The questions of self-determination and sovereignty are delicate.

Azerbaijan conveniently forgets – in its popular rhetoric – that it itself recognized Artsakh as an Autonomous Oblast for almost 70 years. They also forget that the referendum of 1988 was done in accordance with Soviet laws and procedures.

They also don’t mention that when Azerbaijan declared independence from the Soviet republic – they unilaterally “dissolved” the Artsakh Oblast.

And when they did that, the people of Artsakh still sought and pursued the same “internationally recognized” process of holding a referendum and voting to declare their sovereignty/independence…exactly the same process Azerbaijan pursued to declare independence and sovereignty from the collapsing Soviet Union.

And that’s when military aggressions began, as a response.

This context matters if OP truly is trying to learn and understand the history and the context.

Once conflicts started (and leading up to it), both sides did terrible shit to each other.

Someone will likely object to my comment with lots of hate and political/rhetorical acrobatics…and someone will also likely start screaming “SUMGAIT!”

    …but the facts still stand.

  11. Map it self is full of propaganda. They marked all Karabagh as occupied and not only so called separatist territory.
In my point of view it was a mistake to enter Armenia even if it was only little bit of area despite they invaded our almost 30% of territory for 30 years and ignored international territory. However i find it laughable that now they cry about “you invade Armenian international territory”.

All “ethnic people” talk is also crap talk. It did not gave them right to invade us. Hitler use to claim neighboring territory based on “historical german tribe land” and look where did that led him.

I love how Karki is conveniently left out. Cause Armenia is good and Az is bad.

  13. I think we need to start ignoring pro-war armenians and let them switch from denial phase to acceptance.

  14. Who tf wrote that Karabakh is occupied while it internationally recognized as Azeri territory???
