    What are the chances that the inflation rate the CRA uses is the same as the “official” rate published by the federal government when they want to sell us on the great job they’re doing.

  2. Maybw, the bottom bracket should be 150k since that’s what Justin considers financially challenged now.

    150k as middle class feels optimistic, but hey, who am I to argue with CRA’s reality distortion field?

    This won’t affect wealthy people who have no income.

    For people who have no income their capital gains should be treated and taxed as such.

    2.7% increase isn’t enough. It should inflation plus ##. Something to help more than just inflation.

    Then need to apply historical inflation to the wage brackets. They need to jack them up to give the middle class a chance.

  8. Can’t for the next election. I’m seek of these handouts, while Canada is deep in debt. It’s like treating yourself to a luxury dinner while you can’t pay your credit card debt.
