You can do better by focusing on areas with higher Republican margins to pack into your one Republican state so as to minimize the population and hence electoral votes of that state. The Plains and Appalachia are going to be more efficient than Florida as the focus. Places like Miami-Dade (55% Trump) are poor bang for your buck in terms of Republican votes per capita.

  3. This is impressive work. Hope nobody tries to turn it into law in either direction.

This is actually something I was wondering, if god forbid the states borders themselves could be gerrymandered, what would that look like

  5. Maine’s abbreviation is ME not MN that is Minnesota, which is also in this map with a different color

Every party cries about elections but never do anything about the electoral college.

  7. Look not a Trump person here at all, but maybe do something more productive

  8. Adamantium-Aardvark on

This is *almost* as ridiculous as the electoral college IRL

Since Trump’s 2016 I’ve been saying Democrats need to do their own version of Project REDMAP. It worked out VERY well for the Republicans, they had a clear plan after Obama’s 2009 win and it paid off. They even consumed the Tea Party offshoot. The Democrats haven’t done a good job of trying to consume the offshoots and gerrymandering.
