      It should be well known at this point the check indicates “Verified *Vile*” content.

      To make things worse, there’s basically no moderation so the accounts stay up for WAY longer than they should

      Notice the quotes around verified, so BBC doesn’t get sued. X tick is just for subscribers, not verified. Also why is this article in Arabic? Lol.

      I love that OP linked the Arabic version of the BBC and nobody noticed because everyone just reads the fucking headline.

      And Musk personally reinstated accounts that shared some of the worst known material, one account in particular made money on X’s monetisation scheme due to the increased publicity he got for sharing CP and getting his account reinstated by Musk.

      It’s been known for a long time and companies don’t have a problem advertising on this wild west platform that rewards people being their most disgusting selves.

      That’s beyond horryfing. It’s a stark reminder of how dangerous and unregulated social media can be when profit is prioritized over safety. Platforms must be held accountable for letting things like this happen.
