      Russia is weak, they can’t wage World War level efforts against the EU. It’s 20 trillion GDP vs 3 trillion, that’s not a world war.

      Stop pretending Russia is a real peer to EU, they aren’t even close.

      If Putin attack any NATO countries, Article 5 will kick in and NATO will be in war with Russia.

      It’s only possible if China and Russia team up and go for Taiwan and all in on the baltics, it’s an all or nothing kind of game.

      There will be too much to do in both theaters, and the conflict won’t be conventional in the sense that it will be difficult to settle fast, because China HAS people and Russia has the modern combat experience.

      One thing for sure, if they’re planning this, they will not have another chance like this one since eventually the West will learn the same lessons from current conflicts as well.

      One aspect no one will dare mention for various reasons — start digging up using old machines and historical research how to make the simplest and most durable diesel engines one can make, engines that can be maintained and repaired. And while you are at it, figure out how to reboot civilization before computers.

      Contrary to assertions, nuclear war is survivable, and within a few years, with proper planning, the living will not envy the dead.

      I’m pretty sure people don’t know why a world war is called a world war with how often I see declared WW3 is about to start, any time something happens.

      I did read the article, it seems like various European countries (Germany, Finland and Sweden) are preparing contingency plans if war breaks out. Does anyone else feel “Europe prepares for WW3” is a little sensational?
