      How are people still surprised by this? Check the polls. He’s been unlikely to win since 2022.

      This may be obvious to everyone here, but not so much to the typical reader of this publication, who’s most likely a mainstream liberal American (or British) six-figure-earning white-collar worker. In fact, they’re probably shocked by this.

      It seems pointless to be commenting on an election that isn’t actually happening. And misleading to refer to ‘the Canadian election’ as though there is one happening right now.
