      In any case, any plan will always be “unacceptable” because Putin and his circle have become stuck in a warlord logic: any backtracking would risk revolution or regime change. This situation allows them to maintain their control over the slaves they send to the slaughter to save their own lives.

      That because those troops and weapons would prevent Russia from breaking yet another peace agreement and going back for more pieces of Ukraine. Which is its goal.

      Russia does not want peace. Russia wants Europe. Give them time to replenish and they will continue their westward ambitions

      Speaking as a Trump supporter, I’ve long been warning that his team is naive if they think Russia cares about land. It’s a means to an end. Russia wants to control Ukraine. Any peace deal that doesn’t involve some form of security guarantees for Ukraine will ultimately undermine America First interests. But Russia won’t agree to security guarantees for Ukraine. So Trump will really need to turn the screws on the Russians to get them to meaningfully come to the table. Supports reports that Trump endorsed use of ling range missiles on Russia.

      This is a dry run of Trump’s peace plan. The conditions were almost the exact same as Trump’s team proposed.
