    >OTTAWA – Pierre Poilievre continues to refute all Liberal Party attempts to tie him to President Donald Trump, insisting that if people pay close attention they’ll see he’s way more of a JD Vance type.

    >“Canadians see right through the Liberals pathetic attempts to associate me with President Trump,” said Poilievre. “They know I’m nowhere near that charismatic and if I ever got shot I’d cry for days.”

    >“When I am Prime Minister I promise to bring the same weird, mannequin come to life and still figuring out social graces energy to my work that Mr. Vance brings every day.”

    >Poilievre was quick to point out other similarities to Vance, including their recent makeovers, their inability to make small talk with service workers, and their love of cosplaying as everyday folks while maintaining first-class lifestyles.

    >“Plus we both love dropping hints about how much we want to control women’s bodies and then denying we’re going to pass any legislation about controlling women’s bodies.”

    >However Pierre denied ever having sexual intercourse with a couch, stating he had “only gone to second base” with an armchair once.

The Liberals obsession with this narrative is hilarious!

The only redeeming thing about jd vance is that he served as a marine… idk a lot about poilievre but he doesn’t strike me as somebody who would do anything brave

Absolutely. After never doing anything outside of Politics,  you can expect him to be aTrump…

Poilievre apologizes to loveseat after calling it a tiny little sofa.

lol. It seems trivial but I do think the whole makeover thing deserves more attention in politics generally.

It’s such an obvious confession that you’re willing to change pretty fundamental things about yourself in an attempt to gain power, and that we, as a society, really value appearance in our leaders no matter how transparently they’re putting it on.

It’s weird we don’t talk about that more.

Nearly didn’t notice this was Beaverton. We are so close to satire at this point.

Congrats to the Beaverton. I saw this headline earlier today and immediately thought it was real. Actually, there seems to be more than a grain of truth to this headline. PP could be JD in sheep’s clothing. Well done you guys!

Like it’s satire, but where is the lie? PP wants Cons in lockstep, which is why none of them are talking about the federal housing initiatives, and why all the provincial cons are attacking transgender youth. He fans the flames of culture war bullshit, and spends time attacking the other parties instead of governing.
