      Harper has no experience managing a pension fund.

      This is the UCP putting someone they view as a friendly, well known and respected Conservative face in a position to help the UCP sell Albertans on leaving the CPP. Jim Dinning was not up to the task.

      I have to think it will backfire. Albertans will ask why they should leave the CPP for a pension plan that was run by people so incompetent that they were all fired and replaced by someone with no experience running a pension plan.

      Conservatives love to claim that Trudeau is corrupt, while Stephen Harper has quietly been a political disruptor both domestically and overseas.

      Remember that time Harper blew the Liberals surplus immediately after taking office? Alberta pensioners should be worried.

      Frankly the concept of him doing it pro bono is a lot scarier and outrageous than if he was getting the normal salary for the job. If he’s doing it for free then its something else that’s making it worthwhile to him
