      All this does is, stop Ukrainians from surrendering and fight till the bitter end.
      Even in the most hopeless situation, there’s a chance of survival. Because a slight chance of survival is better than no chance.

      It seems plain to me that ruzzia has a no prisoners order. There have been multiple reports of executed prisoners over time. I don’t get surrender at all in these circumstances. If one faces certain death after surrender, my personal choice would be to fight to the last round. After the last round then fix my bayonet and charge. My personal perference would be to go out like that rather than stripped and shot by the enemy.
