      Is anyone else hopefully we will outgrow the concept of patents in the next few decades?

      Seems pretty reasonable. Using major commercial generative AI tools is not allowed within the office because of some major deltas with AI especially when it comes to IP, but the office has its own internal tools that are allowed.

      Using LLMs to search for prior art makes sense. But it sounds like there have to be real human brains looking at an d responding to the concepts in the actual patent applications.
      For now. (As any comment on the U.S. govt must be qualified.)
