How on earth was this decision passed while marrying minors was still legal??

That poor girl – getting raped, then deceived into thinking she was married to her abuser, attacked further, and carrying his baby this whole time. 

I imagine based on how the judge worded the case, that the man argued it was consensual sex with his wife at the time. I kind of love this ruling because it doesn’t leave room to consider if his LIE to her about them being married matters. He had sex with a minor, it’s rape.
