      Guys, take care of yourselves and each other, and for the love of God, don’t let insecurity warp you into lashing out at other people. We’re capable of being better than that, and we should celebrate rising to be our best selves as men, despite all the challenges we face.

      My company’s office manager sent me a similar celebratory message (which honestly I wasn’t expecting) and even organized a beer tasting event in men’s honor, what a day!

      And My gf sent me some cute balloons too, hope you lads are also feeling appreciated wherever you are, cheers! 🍻

      Seems like this is about cheapening the actually historically notable International Womens Day. Womens liberation is a legitimate issue.

      Would the analogue of celebrating mens liberation be akin to admiring the masculinity of people like Talleyrand? It’s just a weird take because it ignores the power dynamic that facilites the need for a international woman’s day in the first place
