Very interesting, but it has very little details. Setting fire on a facility can be a mafia action, but depending on what’s inside the facility it could be something different.

    >**Law enforcement authorities have detained two Spanish nationals who were planning to carry out a terrorist act in the city of Šiauliai in northern Lithuania.**

    >According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, two Spanish nationals arrived in Lithuania in September this year with the intention of setting fire to the production facilities of a private company in Šiauliai, as well as to equipment and objects outside.

    >“The suspects neither succeeded in carrying out this criminal plan nor in hiding from law enforcement,” the report says.

    >The suspects attempted to hide in Riga, where they were detained by officers of the Latvian State Security Service.

    >“Shortly afterwards, these suspects were handed over to Lithuania on the basis of European arrest warrants issued in Lithuania. The suspects are currently in custody and the pre-trial investigation is continuing,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said.

    >According to LRT.lt sources, the company in question is TVC Solutions which installs mobile TV and radio stations and does not produce any military equipment.

    >Ramūnas Dirmeika, head of TVC Solutions, said he found out about the possible attack in September when he was called to the police to provide evidence.

    >“We are not victims, there is no damage to the company. However, the police have opened a pre-trial investigation into possible damage. We gave our testimony, we gave everything we could, and we never came back to this issue again,” Dirmeika told LRT TV.

    >The pre-trial investigation is being overseen by the Prosecutor General’s Office and conducted by the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau.

  3. Is it really terrorism or some sort of organised crime activity against the business targeted?
