      The idea that Mexico will “reclaim” its lost territory is hilariously Russian. Only a Russian politician would view territorial expansion as the goal of a modern country.

      But as a northerner, I would love to join Canada.

      This is a rare occasion when I actually agree with Putin.    

      I’m so happy for the Americans.  They finally have a man in the White House who truly reflects their views.   It really couldn’t have happened to a nicer country!

      Yeah that was his plan all along All the misinformation on social medias that the Russian have been putting out has worked But he is underestimated the United States. Yes, we are stupid. Yes we are gullible, but we have a tendency to wake up when the wool gets pulled over our eyes. But then again I’m a dumb optimist.

      At least I’ve seen a report or two claiming that Europe / NATO already started planning for “life without the USA”.

      The good news is that Russia has shown that their military was vastly overrated. In terms of conventional warfare, they wouldn’t stand a chance against NATO, even without the US. Britain and France have about 500 nukes between them, which is still an effective deterrent, if not quite MAD. Presumably, that number could be increased relatively quickly. Before Russia played its hand in Ukraine, the thought of Europe dealing with Russia without the US was unthinkable. Now, it seems more than doable.

      It’s essential that Europe treats the US as a lost cause for now and plans accordingly.

      No shit. This has always been Putin’s plan. It’s just too damn bad that there are so many dense (trying to be nice) americans that don’t see that. They would rather wear “I’d rather be Russian than Democrat” shirts, and vote in the destruction of democracy. Stephen Hawking was right, Trump does appeal to the lowest common denominator.

      Now I am going to grab some Brawndo and go down to my local Costco to feel the love.

      Forget about Russia, what’s going on in America right now plays into the hands of China.

      They’re an emerging super power growing from a third world to a first world.

      All this chaos and instability in America, we can slap all the embargos we want on China, doesn’t matter. They just need to seem like the more stable and less chaotic country.

      All China has to do is point out to the nato countries that are already on the fence like Turkey and Hungary – do you really want to keep doing business with America, who’s chaotic and uses you to prop up their Hegemony?

      If it goes well for them, other countries will follow suit. That’s when things will really get spicy for us.

      I honestly don’t understand why the US federal government doesn’t just arrest all this cabal of fascist scum at this point. They have openly declared their intention to annihilate the rule of law and install a dictatorship. Why even play along anymore? They’re illegitimate.

      Like seriously. Arrest them and write a new fucking constitution since the current one clearly doesn’t stop self-destructive behaviour. Democracies should not follow decorum when faced with destruction. This is what your founding fathers did when faced with tyranny. They disobeyed and wrote their own new set of rules.

      I don’t see how that scenario plays any worse than what is about to happen if they let Trump in. If someone wants to play dictator, do it before them while you have the opportunity and rewrite the rules to pull the ladder away before they climb it. The time to play nice is over.

      Inaction is complicit.

      I still can’t believe it. If I were in a custody battle and my spouse promised to murder my child I would take my child and get her to safety. It’s sad that there nobody to save the US.
      We all get to witness the rise of magas. I wonder if “following orders” will be their defense eventually.

      This is Russia’s ultimate victory. They’ve won the Cold War. They laid low the American juggernaut, not by force of arms but by subtlety, patience, and turning our own citizens upon one another. This division is now so ingrained that I’m not even sure this country can even be called the UNITED States any longer.

      I think ultimately that Putin wishes the same fate on the US as what happens to the USSR. Fragmentation into several smaller counties, many of which will fail outside the umbrella of the US. While he rebuilds mother Russia by force.
