  1. Great headline that avoids touching on the liberals refusing to comply with document handover

  2. HanSolo5643 on

The Liberals could simply end this by turning over the documents that they have ordered to turn over.

I don’t think we have had a functioning parliament since like…….June?

  4. If we go into Christmas break and then come back to the same shit in January there better be some consequences doled out.

Maybe the Liberals should live up to their parliamentary obligations and turn over those docs

  6. What’s Trudeau hiding? Why won’t he just hand over the documents?

  7. There is no longer a point to reading anything published by canadas big media

They are so persistant at not delivering the documents. It all greatly suggets the Liberals have something embarrassing to hide, going against the order from the Liberal president of the House of Commons.

A group of public employees participating in a work stoppage? Surprised Trudeau hasn’t enacted back to work legislation on them.

Bs. It is gridlock due to the green slush fund fraud being investigated.
Trump isn’t even sworn in yet. Why would parliament remain gridlock based on policies that aren’t even imposed yet?

    Stop lying to people.

If Canada Post strike goes into mid January , look for privatization. December is its most profitable month , to wipe that out would be the end of Canada Post as we know it . There would be major restructuring of its services .

  12. A lot of you seem to be buying the whole “the Liberals are refusing to turn over the documents” nonsense regarding the green slush fund.

Here is a good explainer on the topic:
    https://youtu.be/GmmoPBiZ5Bg?si=nPUSUTB7c4WuZAeH

    Key takeaways:
    – The RCMP currently has documents (though they are redacted).
    – because this is the first time the house has compelled that documents be turned over the RCMP, the speaker (Fergus) said that the issue should go to the procedure committee first.
    – before the issue/documents can go to the procedure committee, a motion needs to be passed, which the CPC is blocking.
    – So the CPC is demanding that documents be turned over, while actively blocking the process.
    – if the documents are turned over to the RCMP directly in the way the CPC is pushing for, it could jeopardize any potential investigation.

TLDR, procedure is the reason the unredacted docs can’t be turned over, the CPC doesn’t want procedure followed so they are stalling proceedings in the house, preventing the unredacted docs from getting to the RCMP.

Good. More time for Trudeau to not fuck up the country. Let the grid lock go on until we have an other election.
