      Trump isn’t even sworn in yet. Why would parliament remain gridlock based on policies that aren’t even imposed yet?

      If Canada Post strike goes into mid January , look for privatization. December is its most profitable month , to wipe that out would be the end of Canada Post as we know it . There would be major restructuring of its services .

      A lot of you seem to be buying the whole “the Liberals are refusing to turn over the documents” nonsense regarding the green slush fund.

      Key takeaways:
      – The RCMP currently has documents (though they are redacted).
      – because this is the first time the house has compelled that documents be turned over the RCMP, the speaker (Fergus) said that the issue should go to the procedure committee first.
      – before the issue/documents can go to the procedure committee, a motion needs to be passed, which the CPC is blocking.
      – So the CPC is demanding that documents be turned over, while actively blocking the process.
      – if the documents are turned over to the RCMP directly in the way the CPC is pushing for, it could jeopardize any potential investigation.

      TLDR, procedure is the reason the unredacted docs can’t be turned over, the CPC doesn’t want procedure followed so they are stalling proceedings in the house, preventing the unredacted docs from getting to the RCMP.
