It’s telling that a map update gets downvoted immediately. You’d think people supposedly sympathetic to the Ukrainian cause would want to understand what is actually going on. Key positions—Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk—are all under immediate threat of falling to Russia. Ukraine’s lines are faltering. Yet, we are supposed to “Slava Ukraine!” or shut up.
Situation is nasty, there’s no shortselling it.
Sad, but unfortunately true. The question now is how does Ukraine reverse this?
If you have the DeepState app you’d know that everyday has looked pretty much like this. I can’t remember the last day where there wasn’t a single advance by the Russians. This is to be expected. All we can hope is that there is no major breakthrough that would collapse a part of the front line. “Situation is tough at the moment” IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN!! Better to give up land a retreat than to lose valuable soldiers for a couple km2, especially in Kursk where there is a lot of SOF activity.
