How do you feel about companies jumping on the AI bandwagon and pushing their new AI products/services? Do you feel like it makes you lose trust in the company? Personally it’s just annoying to me, and there’s a part of me that feels like it’s a sign that the company won’t put in as much effort to custom tailor services/experiences to their consumers. It feels colder somehow.
I mean, as a professional illustrator it’s hard not to feel targeted, and it’s frustrating that people have such little respect for a talent I have spent my entire life working on. It’s incredibly dismissive, and it’s theft.
Well AI has a job to do then, which is to engineer a positive public opinion towards itself. I’ve got a feeling they can work it out.
Public sentiment about AI is going to nosedive when it starts replacing entire industries. There is no way AI companies will be allowed to just cause mass unemployment.
So it’s the people they don’t trust with ai. But they trusted them before ai? I didn’t.
