  1. Fun fact, Chatgbt says there is a 98% chance that either Biden, Trump or Putin will be incapacitated or die of age related illness (cancer, heart attack, stroke etc) in the next 5 years due to them all being males in their 70’s

Quote from Borrell: “What does it mean? Well, it means that Putin does not look to be ready to negotiate, but rather to escalate. He does not look willing to negotiate, but to escalate the war in order to fulfil his goals. His goals have been clear since the beginning: to conquer, to occupy and to subjugate Ukraine.”

The EU’s chief diplomat noted that Putin had believed that the war would be over in two weeks, but his plan failed.

Quote from Borrell: “This was his plan. In a couple of weeks, in Kyiv. 1,000 days later, they are still fighting in Donbas. But it is not only 1,000 days – it is 4,000 days since Putin attacked Ukraine for the first time. It was in 2014.”

Borrell acknowledged that the EU’s response should have been firmer and stronger from the beginning. He warned against leaving Russia’s latest escalation without a response.

Quote from Borrell: “It is clear that each step that is being left without reaction encourages Russia to escalate further: no reaction, more escalation.”

Putin’s not ready for talks because he is importing foreign troops to Russian soil to wage a war he’s been losing for 1000 days.

Putin’s not in a position of strength – he’s compromised, begging support to finish a fight he started & can’t win.

He’s got Xi, Modi, & Un all up against his border with no offensive capabilities worth speaking of, because every time he tries to look tough, his military coughs up the ball.

Even if Putin orders the end of the world, there’s a 50% chance his own bodyguards decide he’s not worth the hassle anymore & handle the situation.

  4. put out some military targets in moscow finally – we will see if he is still not ready

That’s cause Poopin sits behind a desk safely. Goes home in the evening. Takes a drive in armored Mercedes. Phones it in. “Get me that guy in Korea. Yes, the one on our side asshole dumpkin. Why can’t I enslave good help anymore. Oh, yeah, Ukraine. Hey, guy in Korea. Russia here. I need another 100,000. Yeah I’m running out. Prisons are empty. Next week? NYET! Tomorrow. Remember, you are on probation, crosshairs still on you. Stay away from tall buildings. Ha ha, that’s what we say over here. Funny Joke.”

Hardly. And it has not been since 2014. It’s been since the 1600s with about 16 years of laxed climate between Russia and the west.

If not that long, at least since 2007 when he started planing this. Already then, mainly Poland, Sweden and the Baltic states demanded the rest to wake up openly and vocaly.

I dont know why they even would like to talk. Russia do not keep any promisses anyway. Just up til the end and even after Crimea both Germany and France was totally ignorant.

.Scholz however still think he could talk.

Putin is embolden with all the support he received from NK, Iran, China.

Except, the support is not free and when the bills come due, I’m sure he’ll react to that.

    Edit: India does not count.

  9. Borrell is wrong abut a lot of issues. The good news is that he is history in 12 days from now.

  10. LowerRhubarb on

Of course he’s not ready, he’s waiting for his puppet to be in office in the US, who will attempt to strongarm everyone into letting him have all of the Ukrainian land he has stolen.

And he never will be. Seriously, why do people expect someone like him will all of a sudden decide to do the right thing and be a better person? People like him/kju/djt/xi none of them are capable of change and they all know it, which is why they all flock together.

  12. Why anyone listening to these dipshit bureaucrat still is beyond me. Ask the man himself. This type of braindead speculation is one of the main reason we are closer to WW3 than ever before.
These people consider themselves “the adults in the room” and they’re dumb as fuck acting like little children.

Ok you won with program tech. I don’t know how they all went through that. Lol desire one!

  14. Sure, his admirer Trump is about to replace his nemesis Biden/Harris. What would anyone else do?

For someone hell bent on securing his legacy in his own mind, nothing except this goal will offer a compromise. He (along with other “leaders”) are stuck with old thinking of absolute nationalism and fighting to keep it that way to keep the good ole boys club in power. Thought this was the future and high time for a world government.

I feel sad for Ukraine especially knowing that Iran is siding with the Russians in this war. I hope my people back in Iran wake up to the truth and retire and replace Ali Khamenei with a democratic government.

He just declined a settlement that was he keeps everything hes got + 10 years of no nato for ukraine. If theres a negotiated settlement soon ukraine is going to get destroyed.

If the west concedes this theres really no other way to look at it than nato lost to russia+iran+north korea.

From there what do you think the middle east states do.

The scale of the fuck up thats pending is on the scale of the soviet collapse.

  18. spoollyger on

That’s because he has 100k North Korean soldiers on the way and Ukraine hasn’t stopped losing ground

Fuck that Russian rat I would like to accidentally leave a window open in his office since those windows are much more dangerous than bullets in Russia

  20. Putin’s guy is about to take the White House and hamper Ukraine’s efforts, why would Putin think about peace talks now?

  21. InformalPenguinz on

That’s because he’s a sociopath. He doesn’t care about anything except himself.

Probably wants his butt buddy Trump to be there for negotiations.

In reality no matter how you slice it, Russia massively suffered on the world scale for this, and they are going to have to pay up to China and Iran.

  23. Why would he negotiate? He won. He already conquered America and the source of the weapons and the money. Americans are busy tearing each other apart while Russian interests are being installed in the top government positions, as they siphon money out of the American people to give those same Russian interests even more money.

Russia basically won the Cold War by shrewdness instead of force.

Hes waiting for his puppet to take over the White House then will make demands Trump would agree with.

    Leaders who take their countries to war. Should;

    – have to have a son or daughter enlisted and on active duty on the front lines.

    – must have to pay a certain percentage out of pocket to help finance the war effort.
