      It is all theater till Republican senators actually do their jobs and confirm appointments without recess being used. They will say all the right things till it is “game day” and then they will ofc play ball for trump. I hope I am wrong but I have a feeling this is just going to get worse and worse till his term is finally over.

      I understand that Trump and his minions have, for some reason, a fear of the “deep state”, career bureaucrats, and the people who work in associated industries. The thing is however that is where people exist who are both subject matter experts and who have undergone vetting. While having a man crush on fellow “disruptors” and sycophants might engorge their Vienna sausages, it does little to ensure knowledgeable and competent personnel are in positions that require them.

      Wilson is just another crybaby who thinks he alone should pick the president. 1st we have Gaetz who allegedly had sex with an underage girl, yet there’s been no prosecution. Now there’s Hegseth, a decorated combat veteran who is suddenly a rapist after being appointed by Trump. Wonder what rapists Trump will appoint to the Supreme Court if Alito and Thomas retire.

      I keep reminding myself that “elections have consequences” when I start to get angry about dumps picks. This is what America voted for, why should I upset? I hope they get EVERYTHING they voted for, in spades. When it all catches fire, I’m bringing marshmallows and a tiny violin 🎻
