      What’s wrong with Russia here? Can’t they maintain their internal public image of an unstoppable champion of justice against the left-wing marxist american capitalist anti-puppy nazi satanist forces of Ukraine if they have to evacuate people the second they’re actually allowed to fight back?

      This always happens. The rich can avoid any consequence by moving out of the way, leaving the masses to suffer.
      This also happens in the USA, where all abortion laws affect eveyone but the rich, who simply move to a state where abortion is still legal, if/when needed.

      No one likes civilian casualties, so it would only be good to evacuate the Russian civilians close to potential targets.

      As paradoxical as it may sound, only profound civilian unrest caused by mass evacuations (among other things) could finally tear down the dull support for Putin among Russians.

      To be frank, it is my opinion that russian officals and oligarchs should have been targeted around the time russia targeted children hospitals. After so many war crimes they should be declared hostis humani generis and shouldn’t feel save anywhere from now on and definitely not on a yacht or any luxuary appartment in the West.

      Altho there is rumors, I dont know if anything has really changed. Wasn’t there already an OK ( atleast 6 month ago 0 to strike military targets in Russia which are used to launch attacks into Ukraine. Atleast thats what i remember. Long range strikes isnt the same as “deep strikes”.

      They should of thought about the Ukrainian family who can no longer be together because of the Russian invasion. Now they can feel that feeling of not being safe

      Hypothetical question would the Russians use their own civilians as meat shields for important infrastructure?

      Why is this something Biden can authorize?
      Is it because they’re American weapons and Biden previously required that they would not be used for long ranged strikes (with a penalty of no further support, or something, if violated)?

      Russia clearly cannot take what they dish out.
