There’s really nothing happening in New Mexico in the early 1940s

Thanks for posting this. It resonates with me as a Navy veteran and a geography nerd. Those military and industrial facilities on the West Coast, Colorado, and Texas would set those states up to be economic powerhouses and migration magnets in the present day.
