Yeah it’s already been too late for a long time. Government doesn’t really care

  2. It’s ruined televised sports.  Even the announcers are talking about betting odds.

    Just complete degeneracy.

There’s a reason gambling wasnt allowed to advertise in the past.  The house always wins.  Which effectively gives them unlimited advertising dollars.

Well it’s ruined sports and former athlete’s reputations, but I mean the government makes coin on it, so why would they cut it back?

CBC: Online sports betting is out of hand… meanwhile there is people burning Canadian flags in Brampton, protests for Palestine and general unrest… i wonder which is more important

Yeah, it is a willful infliction of harm. Enabling an addictive and potentially destructive activity to be easily available to the general public.

How is that different than enabling an addictive and potentially destructive drug to be easily available to the general public?

The era of the oligarch has arrived.

Governments are bought and paid for by lobbyists. It took until house prices were supremely unaffordable until action was taken against BC Casinos and money laundering operations through BC real estate before we saw a real effort to change things.

It took large-scale popcorn lung to occur before restrictions were imposed on vapes.

  7. Anything other than the game in play on a broadcast is basically just a gambling ad. I refuse to ever even go on one of these sites they are so entrenched into NHL games now.
