That reminds me the horse meat scandal in Europe which happened about 15 years ago.

Some people says foreign meat tastes different but I think this implies that most people can’t tell the difference.

I used to buy foreign meat but recently, devalued yen is making foreign meat more expensive then then domestic meat so some supermarkets are only stocking domestic meat. This doesn’t mean domestic meat price went down but that all meat price increased.
