      Confirmed? He’s going to be pushed in via recess appointment. Why is anyone still thinking this administration is going to play by tradition or the rules on the back of the box? Nothing as we know it is ever going to be the same about this country.

      Well, either that former federal prosecutor is naive, or I am. I’m not certain there are enough Repub senators with a spine.
      On the other hand, maybe trmp is using the Gaetz and RFKJ nominations as rewards for their support, knowing they’d never be confirmed — a quid pro quo that costs him nothing and enables him to nominate people who are awful, but slightly less awful than those two.

      Didnt the huffpost say that trump has zero chance of getting elected? Like for real. Huffpost. your an echo chamber and the trolls see gaetz as an antithesis to the DOJ. That is his virtue to them. If he destroys the doj, the doj cant investigate him further.

      Just like kennedy is the antithesis of the health and human services, and that brandon herrerra guy is the antithesis of the ATF.

      And if you think it isnt bad, brandon herrerras name is trending as the top name for nomination of the atf on twitter, and he didnt even campaign for it. He put out a video on it too, saying he would misinterpret every single law and actively sabotage every law congress placed that was not explicit. That means machine guns for common folks.

      If he does get’s a recess confirmation i truly think all hope will be lost.

      My theory is that a couple of these nominations, like Gaetz, are distractions from the actual ghouls they’re putting in place that will competently destroy everything. They’ll back off on a couple of the highest profile ones, but the rest will make it through because we don’t have the attention span to do anything about it.
