      Such a testament to how unrepresentative the EC is. Look at that popular vote pie graph and compare it to the EC pie graph. Reagan still wins, but half the country voted for someone else (and it is accepted that Anderson split the left vote and probably cost Carter the election).

      Anderson seems fairly under-discussed in U.S. political discourse compared to other notable 3rd-party and independent candidates (Roosevelt, Thurmond, Wallace, Perot, Nader, etc) – wonder why that is? Is it just that Liberal Republicans aren’t a relevant political faction anymore?

      That’s what you get when you run a guy from the TV. A popular candidate who will endorse anything he’s paid to. Reagan started us on this ride of privatization and gutting every last social program and Trump will certainly finish the job.
