      Am I correct in thinking that if you have sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 18 it’s classed as statutory rape of a minor?
      The legal age in my country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿is 16!
      Afaic a 16 year old is still too young

      If you’re a Trump voter you’ve already decided rape isn’t a deal breaker.

      If you’re not a Trump loyalist you care, but not enough to do anything until he became nominated for Attorney General.

      This is all an a tempest in a teapot – sound and fury, signifying nothing. 

      Meanwhile, Russian agent Tulsi Gabbard and white supremacist Pete Hegseth are going to get confirmed with no problem.

      The nomination is just a way for him to resign from Congress with “honor.” He will remove himself from consideration. If it’s true that nearly 12 Rs won’t vote for him. Then he’ll never see the inside of a confirmation hearing. They won’t let that kind of embarrassment happen. They won’t let the vote happen, and there is no way that Gaetz will go under oath. There’s lying about direct questions on policy, and there is lying about direct questions about the things he has been alleged to have done. And that includes actions on and leading up to January 6th. He’ll have to plead the 5th far too many times.
