      I’ve seen this one before (edit: or something very similar). You can’t surrender to an fpv drone, it’s not practical. And that drone was already in its terminal phase and the signal was breaking up so the operator probably didn’t even see the “I made a mistake but I’m sorry now that I know I’m f’d” wave. Those were the main points the last time this (or something very similar) was posted.

      I appears as if the transfer latency of command signals and video feed from the FPV UAV to the operator didn’t allow for identification of the RF soldier’s intent to surrender and abortian of attack as the UAV was already in its end-phase approach.

      IMO the actions of the drone operator don’t constitute a war crime.

      If you find yourself facing an FPV drone, putting your hands up like you’re surrendering is not gonna help you. Best start making your peace with whatever God you believe in that situation. It’s a shit situation, but that’s war.

      All of you saying you can’t surrender to a drone…. A few posts below Russians surrendering to drones. That said? Even if he saw him? He is a uniformed soldier of an attacking army. And a legitimate military target. No war crime. But war crime is different than moral. It’s case by case as far as I’m concerned. But yes, it is in Ukraine’s interest to take as many prisoners as possible.

      Yeah that Ukrainian drone operator most definately saw that vid where the orcs killed UA POW the orcs in that whole area is cooked

      He’s lucky he wasn’t captured, tortured like the Russians do, then killed slowly
