      Beyond all that bullshit from Johnson, it’s absolutely a necessity to release the report for simple vetting purposes. The electorate has an absolute right to know if a potential AG has skeletons in his closet, especially if they’re criminal in nature.

      Politicians need to be completely transparent in order to be trusted. A guy running the justice department sweeping (or having it swept) an ETHICS report under the rug? Doesn’t matter what it entails. Being ethical is argumentally one of the single most important character traits of someone managing government legal positions.

      This is also a guardrail on Trump that needs to be upheld.
