It’s heartbreaking. Whatever demons he was fighting, whatever else was happening in his life, he’s still someone’s father, son, brother and friend.
Cannot understand everyone talking about him “fighting demons”, dude was an abusive ass hat, the fact he died does and should not change any perception.
He was being a pouty rock star right to the very end then, eh?
He had been open and honest about his struggles in the past. It sounds like he didn’t have the proper support system around him. And that’s not to waive any accountability on his part, but when you know you’re actively dealing with someone who is and has been fighting demons, they do have to be handled differently—in the way they’re dealt with, overall.
Life is not always rainbows and cotton candy for people, and we can’t expect it to be. There are people in this world who truly have inner turmoil—for one reason or another—and they do need to be helped, even if from a distance. We shouldn’t always be judging them; that’s not productive at all.
This is a sad story all the way around, though, it sounds like it could have been prevented. May he rest in peace.
We need better child labor laws for entertainment. Just because they aren’t inhaling coal dust doesn’t mean they aren’t being harmed by the work.
Sucks for the hotelier. What a nightmare.
Hurt people, hurt people… I don’t think he was anywhere near okay towards the end, he did some terrible things but still deserved help and support, very sad that he died in this way
TLDR:
* According to a translated *La Nacion* transcript of the call, the worker said the musician was intoxicated and presumed he was “under the influence of alcohol and drugs,” insisting that someone needed to come “urgently” to the location. The outlet stated the call was made at 5:01 p.m. local time, shortly before Payne’s death around 10 minutes later.
* “What I’m asking is for someone to come urgently,” the worker said, per a transcript shared by the [BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cj9jx89w490o). The person on the other end of the line confirmed that SAME (Buenos Aires’ public emergency medical services system) was on its way, per the outlet. Throughout the call, Payne’s name was not mentioned.
* Sky News reported the worker said the guest’s life might be “in danger” because he was “in a room with a balcony.”

Well he was an abusive prick. If Kanye or Chris Brown jumped out a window I wouldn’t cry either
I honestly think it was an accident. He had been kicking off wanting to use the pool. I think he either thought he’d make the jump or he could climb down. He was pretty out of it according to reports so i think he thought he could make it. But that’s obviously just my opinion. Either way it’s very sad.
Seek help as much as you can. Not drugs, folks.
I feel bad for employees that work all day dealing with this type of chaos.
