      Muslims are people who adhere to Islām, a monotheistic religion belonging to the Abrahamic tradition. They consider the Qur’ān, the foundational religious text of Islām, to be the verbatim word of the God of Abraham (or Allah) as it was revealed to Muhammad, the main Islāmic prophet. Here are some verses from that text (please note that I don’t subscribe to this ideology):

      “Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses – We will drive them into a fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allāh is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.”

      — Qur’an, 4:56

      “Fight against those who do not believe in Allāh or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allāh and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth [i.e., Islām] from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.”

      “Indeed, those who disbelieve from the People of the Book and the polytheists will be in the Fire of Hell, to stay there forever. They are the worst of all beings.”

      islam started as arabias answer to christianity when europe was into crusades back then

      arabia created their own monotheist religion and these days that seems to be most popular

      I really wish they’d do this by region instead of color in the entire country. I’m fairly certain most of Siberia is not ten percent or more Muslim.

      It visually distorts the message, like Metcator madness countries look oversized when you move away from the equator.

      MapPorn shows a lot of maps with Muslim focus, often negative focus for some reason.

      Seriously, can we stop getting maps like this? I know for a damn fact these kinds of maps are typically posted as rage bait from far right people. Plus, it’s just repetitive. Can’t go single day without seeing a map like this. “Percentage of muslims in europe,” “percentage of Africans in europe,” etc…

      Russia has less than 10% Muslims. Bosnia has less than 50% as well.

      Albania should not be green anymore, we have population censuses and since bektashis are extremely liberal and hated by muslims and not seen as muslims they are not counted as islam, the muslim population is below 50% :)!

      In about 60 years Russia will become a predominantly muslim country. They of course try to slow down the process by promoting traditional values but this is only a delay. Plus advanced MIC and 10,000 thousand nukes as a bonus, hell yeah.

      China definitely has a Muslim population over 10%, even without counting those Muslim nations in western China, Zhongyuan(中原), which is considered as the civilization center of China, also has a large population of Han Chinese change their religion from Taoism to Muslim
