      Funny how quick things change in politics. I’m sure she was hanging for an election a couple weeks back. Now she’d want nothing more to wait for the dust to settle.

      Meanwhile, FF and FG allowed and supported the clergy raping thousands of children here for decades? I hope a competent politician or journalist can dig up some dirt on that.

      The fact we don’t have a single political party worth voting for is a disgrace.

      When I was child in the 80’s in North Dublin I knew exactly what SF were like, they’ve never changed, all their righteous lefty waffle is merely a route to power, nothing more, they have so many skeletons in the closet it has spilled out of the closet, out of the room, into the hall way and down the stairs to the front door. Knowing Irish politics I’d bet money that there’ll be a scandal a week leaked to the press by their competition until the election is called and their voter base is shattered. If that’s the case then it’s for the best.

      I listened until he brought up the rape of two boys. Ffs what is wrong with him using that as a way to score points, it’s disgusting. But yes SF needs to answer properly and beat around the bush and talk bollox.

      I always said that when SF got into power, the media would open up their closet of secrets and pummel them into a new election within six months.

      I really never thought that SF would completely fuck it before they got there.

      They had the ball and an open goal and they’ve managed to trip over their own feet before they could take the shot.

      Politics is stranger than fiction sometimes.

      Ah yes, nobly using someone else’s trauma to score political points immediately prior to an election that you’re pretending not to be preparing for. That’s the mature party of government there.

      They’re all the same, none of them have a moral high ground. FFG, yes FFG because at this point sure what the difference in the two parties protected the church rape of children. Then we have Magdalene laundries. This country needs a new fresh party that represents the people.
