I’m attempting to understand the viewpoint. If I resided in an area with thugs, criminals, and hardcore terrorists, I would rethink my connection to the place and consider moving, especially if I lacked the means to alter the circumstances for the better. Thus, I might presume a general support for these individuals among the locals.
