We heard “No”s for every point of this plan already. Why should the answer be different now?

    That’s not a plan, that’s a wishlist.

NATO membership has already gotten a clear No.

Increased weapons from partners isn’t happening, just about every country that has already unveiled their Ukraine budgets for next year has said it’d be less than 2024. The large deliveries for the 2023 counteroffensive were a one-off.

Increased production of ukrainian domestic weapons is constrained by lack of money, and as corrupt and inefficient as the place is, foreign investments are going to be a slow trickle at best.

Security guarantees on the same level as NATO article 5 would mean other countries committing to sending troops in case of a new attack. Nobody will do that, it’d be political suicide.
