In 3 days ballots get sent out here in Washington i will be filling it out as soon as it arrives and immediately take it down to the Dropbox. Then follow up every day online to make sure it gets processed.

Turnout usually favors Democrats in the modern era, if past elections are any indication.

Might be wishful thinking, though. I admittedly have trauma from the first time Trump got elected, so I’m wary about having hope.

      Is that defeatist?

My first, immediate, gut reaction to this news: Oh, that doesn’t bode well for the GOP at all.

Is there a benefit to voting early as opposed to just waiting until election day?

Vote now because they are planning to stop you from voting on Election Day.

Just voted. Very crowded in a rural town. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Fingers crossed for Harris!

    7. Inb4 MAGA claim *massive* voter fraud because a handful of early voters may unexpectedly pass away before Election Day/any recounts. Morons.

    8. I wasn’t able to go today but I will be voting in dekalb tomorrow!!!

Massive turnout usually benefits Democrats. I am cautiously optimistic

A genuine thanks for reminding me to get out and vote early!

Democrats, if you are truly concerned about Trump and you want to make sure your vote counts, vote as early as possible.

I don’t want to be morbid, but anyone could drop at any time. Always cast it as early as you can.

      What would President Carter do?

      Be like President Carter.

Georgia knows they don’t want trump.

Jimmy Carter continues his century of service by voting for Kamala Harris.

      Sounds good. Not enough.

Keep turning out, folks. This is not even close to a sure thing.

    15. This is the sign we all need to know that yes this election is the most serious of our lifetime- vote blue.

This is why I’m going in day 1 of early voting as soon as I can. I want to beat the rush to vote against Ted Cruz’s stupid face.

Good job people of Georgia! Get out and vote before your names get mysteriously removed in roll maintenance!

    18. FUCK YEAH GEORGIA!!

America works best when we all vote. You make us proud!

The citizens of Georgia are having nearly all parts of their corrupt government attempt to stop them from voting. The right knows they cannot win votes so they must stop people from voting no matter what. There has been no vote determinative fraud found in any state from the 2020 election, there is fraud in every election in every country, but there was no fraud on any scale that would have changed the outcome. And those who claim that laws were changed to make it too easy for people to vote simply again do not want Americans to vote.

Vote this dancing wannabe dictator to the retirement home where he belongs.

250K people turned out for 1st day of early voting in Georgia. Previous record was 136K in 2020. The enthusiasm is there and Harris will win. Remember, Biden won Georgia in 2020 by 11,000 votes. This kind of beginning is HUGE!

My dad loves Trump and sent me a photo of a Trump sign in his yard. Told me that he’s sorry I drank the kool-aid since I voted for Harris today . He has stage 4 lung cancer but I still went off on him. Now I feel bad. How do people handle their boomer parents that are brainwashed by Trump? 😭
