But they still will vote for him, even after he shows time and time again that he doesn’t care about other people, he only cares about himself…..sigh

Sounds like another logistical nightmare at a Trump rally. Who thought the desert was a good idea?

  3. Morepastor on

What is funny is the sheriff said it was his duty to protect Trump and rally attendees especially after the incident in Butler. So he failed and should not be reelected.

Trump surrounds himself in incompetence and crazy.

You don’t get Four Seasons Total Landscaping by hiring the best and the brightest. He runs his campaign like he’d run the country.

I watched a YouTube video today by Steve shives about why doesn’t trump try harder? And it’s because he doesn’t have to, his supporters do not care, they will follow him off a cliff without a second thought

  6. Silly-Scene6524 on

They rioted and beat bus drivers.

This should be bigger news. They RIOTED.

  7. VanceKelley on

At one of his rallies trump literally told his supporters he doesn’t care if they live or die. And they cheered him.

  8. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/trump-rally-attendees-stranded-california-desert-19837078.php) reduced by 88%. (I’m a bot)

    > A large crowd of supporters of former President Donald Trump were left stranded in the California desert in triple-digit temperatures on Saturday evening after not enough buses turned up to transport them from a controversial rally back to a parking lot.

    > The clips Johnson posted on X, some of which were posted hours after the rally ended, show hundreds of people waiting around as night fell, with many expressing concern and confusion.

    > It peaked at 102 degrees at 3 p.m. and then crept back down to 99 degrees by the time the rally began at 5 p.m. When the rally ended around 7 p.m., the temperature was 93 degrees.

    >Others incorrectly speculated that local Democratic officials, many of whom opposed the event from the start, had a hand in delaying the shuttles.

Goddamn, these people are brainwashed idiots.

100 degree temps and forcing his supporters to walk miles back to their cars. Have you seen his supporters? They aren’t exactly paragons of physical fitness, to put it mildly.

  11. Horror-Layer-8178 on

I am hearing rumors they were rioted and attacked the bus driver. They sent in riot police

  12. gdirrty216 on

This is a perfect microcosm to how Trump runs anything.

All sizzle, no steak, with a whole lot of pissed off supporters left in his wake

  13. Guessing the check bounced so no pick up. He seems to owe money after the rally’s lately .

  14. People can’t leave the rally early if there are no busses to take them back to the car……

But maybe that’s just a coincidence.

Seems like the only thing Trump has said is a self congratulatory tap on the back for 100k attendees, despite the venue occupancy capping out at 15k. Hmmm. 🤔

  15. That’s a sociopath. He booked the busses to get the stage props (people) to the event but maybe he didn’t see any gain for him in paying for busses to get them back to their cars afterwards. When people aren’t real to you then you shouldn’t be in control of any of them.

  16. This is what they get for supporting him.

Nothing but a different version of how well he’ll treat his supporters if he’s president again.

Just like last time, he’ll let them all die. He doesn’t care. They’re just bodies in a crowd for him and votes.

  17. Nightshade_Ranch on

That comment about people leaving his rallies early really got to him bad. Now he’s secluding and abandoning them.

He only cares that they got there on time and couldn’t leave. The rest is their own problem.

  18. SeeMarkFly on

So…it started as a disaster and ended as a disaster. Seems normal.

  19. Infinite_Spell6402 on

how can we trust his administration to handle natural disaster or military operations if he can’t even get the busses to drop off and pick up his supporters at his rally?

  20. Rainicorngangbang on

My boss went to this yesterday, he just got back to our state and he won’t talk about it at all lol

  21. This is what, the fifth or sixth of donnie dipshit’s rallies to end with the rubes being stranded? They’re just lucky it was in nice, temperate southern California this time.

  22. thirtynation on

I camp at the festival every year (different venue but nearby) to avoid these shit shows in the desert. Stumbling 10 minutes to my tent is way better than busses with the masses. Granted, they actually have their act together unlike this blunder!

  23. Danominator on

    It’s a lib conspiracy! /S

But for real, let’s assume your insane conspiracy is real. if your all powerful demigod is foiled by Dems via bus management, maybe he’s a weak moron unworthy of worship.

Yet another one in the long series of things that if Harris did, her campaign would be over.
