    Gay =/= LGBTQ

LGBTQ is an acronym for various types of sexualities & identities. Being trans is not the same as being “gay”.
Being “queer” isn’t the same thing as being a lesbian, etc.. etc..

So just because a percentage of Gen Z identifies as “LGBTQ” doesn’t mean it’s “30% all gay”.

Sounds like Boosie is extremely ignorant & probably a closeted bisexual. No amount of “heterosexual media” on tv ever made me “turn straight”. If you think people can just be persuaded by a television into becoming attracted to the same sex, then you’re probably a repressed bisexual yourself, since that’s not how homosexuality works. You’re either gay, bi or you’re not.

Funny how I grew up in the 80’s & 90’s at the height of the AIDS epidemic, surrounded by heterosexuality & some how that didn’t “turn me straight”.

Pure ignorance. This isn’t even a conspiracy, it’s just bigotry & homophobia packaged nicely as a “conspiracy”.

As some one who’s slept with many “straight” men, I’m pretty sure the numbers have always been higher than whatever the “statistics” say. Hard to get accurate statistics if a ton of people are in the closet or never come out to begin with.

Well…sounds like capitalism really screwed you right-wingers and culture warriors again, didn’t it!

It’s almost like a person with half a brain would wake up at some point and realize how you’re being manipulated by the right on the basis of identity politics to distract you from class politics AKA SOCIALISM!!!!

I think more people are just comfortable with saying they’re gay or bisexual these days. There was probably so many people in the 1920s (random time period) that were gay or bi and just never told anyone or acted on it because of society back then

    Dno really 🤷

So much stuff falls under lgbtq they do it to artificially boost their numbers.

I don’t get it though. What about TV is convincing people to be attracted to the opposite sex?

I mean isn’t that something you’re born as? Not really convinced into being.

    First off, who cares?
Second off, this is probably just a bunch of girls saying they are non-binary. You don’t have to do shit to claim you are non-binary.

Holy moly. Here’s a conspiracy. More than you know are gay. And now it’s ok to say so without fear of being murdered. So you have more people saying they are. Wake up sheeeeeeeeeeep

This really whose basket you wanna put your eggs in?

From Wiki: “garnered notoriety after saying he paid prostitutes to engage in sex-acts with his children.”

Literal groomer and child sex abuser but yeah, he seems reputable. 🙄

His own daughter is lesbian and he walked out of the play The Color People because he didn’t like that it was “an agenda”. 🤣

  11. 30% of one generation isn’t half the population…you know that right???

    Lgbtq doesn’t mean gay

The q means queer or questioning (efit)

And people who often don’t like or care for the traditional roles adopt the term as an umbrella term

Basically people who kinda are like I’m not really straight but no gay either and no bi tho or trans

Plus it’s way more safe for people to be themselves without having to worry about having to fit in thus people feel more open

But when they’re free to be themselves it’s automatically labeled as gay shit by loads of people

Thus they don’t have an option but to identify as lgbtq since their hometown or local community has shunned them for not being the manly man prototype pr the absolute pinnacle of feminine woman

Edot: basically more people are identifying with it since it’s so broad while the binary option is absolutely so rigid and the rules and norms to fit in as man or woman varies greatly from culture to culture. Even in the US rural identity of what makes a man a man and a woman a woman varies and it seems like people disagree.

So you go to rural Alabama and are a woman but they say, you’re not really a woman cuz you aren’t like this (points to their ideal woman) then they go To LA and they’re not feminine enough. Etc.

I can see why younger people want to find someone who accepts them versus shaming them to fit into whoever they’re talking to’s personal opinion about masculinity and feminity

“why are there suddenly more lgbtq people” what if I told you that they’ve always been there and that a progressive political climate makes people feel safer expressing themselves
