    Well, shows Trump right.

If she ends up booking an interview with them, he’ll probably get mad and ask her to a debate. Which she’ll probably accept.

  2. eyebrowshampoo on

This is excellent, honestly. The purpose of this is to try and reach the few uninformed but persuadable voters who don’t actively seek out political information. Catching them flipping through channels at home, sitting in the doctors office, etc could really get their attention. There are still moderates who watch Fox News, and reaching them is so important.

Hate Fox, but Brett is the most fair anchor there. She needs to admit BIDEN waiting to address immigration issues was a mistake and over stimulating the economy resulted in inflation. Then explain what her administration would do differently. I’ll be crucified for suggesting this, but it would help to get those on the fence vote for her.

  4. IntractableWill on

So Trump, who has dementia and not accountable to the people can do less and get a bigger pass from the mainstream media? This is a double standard. Harris is held to an unfair standard.

And Biden was too old! And trump doesn’t have to sit down with opposing media stations?

  5. SkylarPopo on

Eventual Fox News complaining that Fox News gave her a softball interview.

  6. StormOk7544 on

Cool. Gotta give her credit for going into the lion’s den even if it’s not guaranteed that it will move the needle much.

  7. HappyFunNorm on

I can’t wait for good-faith Fox News questions like “Why do you want to destroy America?” and “Will you finally publicly apologize for the armies of insane murderous criminals you’ve let into the country with your communist open borders?”

  8. GDPisnotsustainable on

    *news*

Must be a local station – because the cable version is licensed as an entertainment channel

  9. jackleggjr on

Shouldn’t she just call in and ramble for an hour while breathing heavily and hitting buttons on the phone by accident? That’s what the Fox viewing audience has come to expect from presidential candidates.

  10. gentleman_bronco on

Harris could nail an interview on a hostile news network on the same day that Trump incoherently rambles about wanting to have the active duty military deployed to attack Americans. And somehow….polls are tied.

I’m looking forward to her speaking slowly and clearly during the interview. Trump will respond with “I don’t understand what she’s saying at all”, and all of the right wing will think his inability to understand is a *good thing*.

  11. Safe_Presentation962 on

She HAS to have a better answer for “are Americans better off today than they were 4 years ago?” She just has to, and it’s absolutely certain FOX will ask that. Her avoiding that answer every time is so obvious.

I’m no political consultant but it needs to be along these lines:

    * Country was in dire straits when Biden took office. Rampant Covid, supply chains around the world shut down.
    * Yes, Americans had to endure pain while trying to right the ship. The whole world experienced inflation. A lot of things from supply chains to war to stimulus money pushed up inflation in the US, but that stimulus, along with IRA, CHIPS, Infra, etc, also were a long-term play to ensure the economy didn’t crash. And it didn’t.
    * Now pivot to how strong the economy is now. Yes prices for many things are still high, but workers wages are up too. It still feels bad to look at the price tags. But if you look at the numbers, Americans ARE better off today.
    * Pivot to the biggest challenges that remain (such as housing and childcare) and how she plans to address them.
    * All of this is a testament to how resilient this country is, and how good Democrats are with the economy and addressing real needs.

Please, please, let Trump try to crash or interrupt this interview! I want to see him exposed as the baby he is to his Fox followers.

  13. PlentyMacaroon8903 on

Harris going on the trump campaign network is maybe one of the most brave campaign choices I can think of.

  14. She’s gonna want to go through the Buttigieg Boot Camp so she can parry as successfully as he does when he appears on Faux News

  15. royhenderson771 on

Fox Entertainment. That propaganda machine doesn’t deserve to be called news. They even argued in court that they are entertainment.

  16. The way I see it, she’s exploiting every opportunity she can get to expose him as the weaker guy, even if it’s going to seem one sided against her.

  17. Night-Gardener on

She needs to go on Rogan as well.

The broey guys who’s vote she will need to win the EC listen to Rogan. He has a huge reach.

  18. AtticaBlue on

This is a great opportunity for her to absolutely dismantle Trump’s lies in a venue where MAGA will *definitely* be forced to hear and see it, as opposed to it simply being suppressed by Fox by not airing her words. She should aim to be fearless in going *full politician* in broadcasting her narrative by ignoring whatever mendacious line of questions Fox tries to throw at her.

  19. RaviTooHotToHandel on

It’s win win for fox and Harris.
Not sure about Trump till it’s done 😉

  20. Gariona-Atrinon on

They will absolutely not ask any questions that are easily, and have already been, debunked, they will not embarrass themselves by giving her that ammunition.

It will be heavily edited by Fox, to their advantage.

  21. She probably needs to do more interviews/appearances in hostile territory

  22. Party-Pop-6289 on

I thinks this is a bad idea, but if she replies like mayor Pete she may have a chance…

  23. Is feeble, dementia Don doing a interview with MSNBC…or even Fox News? Where is he now? In the basement?

  24. I hope she runs a camera of her own during the whole interview so they cant get away with a bullshit edit.

  25. Due-Egg4743 on

Bret generally tries to be a fairly neutral journalist. Trump didn’t seem to like his questioning. This is certainly better than the talking heads like Hannity, Ingraham, Watters, etc.

  26. polarwaves on

Honestly. This is pretty smart. Conservatives keep crying that she’s dodging Fox interviews, now how will they move the goal posts?

  27. Gold-Perspective-699 on

This is the way to make people that only watch Fox realize she’s not actually bad at talking or whatever they make up about her.

  28. che-che-chester on

I agree that she shouldn’t do only friendly interviews like Trump. But I’m not sure you gain anything by doing interviews with news outlets that openly attack you. A very small percentage of Fox News watchers are even willing to consider voting for Harris. It’s more likely they hit her with a bunch of gotcha questions that provide more clips for fight wing media.

  29. Will this be a live interview, or will they edit clips to make Harris look bad?

  30. Doppelfrio on

Because it’s the only way some of these people are going to listen to her

  31. Autodidact2 on

The Harris campaign is the smartest, best presidential campaign I have ever seen. Of course she should do this, and she will crush it.

  32. Not quite sure how she’ll benefit from this. Anyone watching Fox News is going to vote for Trump no matter what. He could kill someone on live television and it wouldn’t change their vote. She might get a few good sound bites from the interview, but even that probably won’t change many opinions

  33. AReckoningIsAComing on

Bret Baier is fair – at least it’s not with one of the crazies like Hannity or Ingraham.

This is a good move on her part.

  34. CharlesB43 on

This is for sure a shot at trump, she went to a right wing “news” channel and trump won’t do the same for the left.

Harris’ camp knows it’ll burn trump’s ass no matter how she does and he’ll go on an unhinged rant/live tweet spree and further show off how unhinged and mentally unstable he is.

The people who are going to vote for her are voting for her, the people who aren’t are not changing their mind and if you’re undecided… I mean, c’mon. we’re weeks out from the election and if you still don’t know who you’re voting for then you’re lying to yourself.

  35. Done-old will call in; go on a five minute rambling rant about it being election interference; fox will have to hang up on him; then he will declare he was the winner of the debate.

In the meantime, Kamala will answer their questions, get in a few laughs, and the hosts will look bewildered at the end.

  36. hillbillyspellingbee on

Meanwhile, Trump has no balls at all whatsoever. Won’t debate her. Won’t even look at her.

  37. cheezhead1252 on

Hopefully she spends most of it trashing Trump for spreading fake news

  38. Fox actually needs trump to lose so they can continue to grift their viewers by blaming everything on the democrats. The official state-run media under trump will be his brand, not an existing corporation

  39. whoopysnorp on

Oh Cool. I’m sure Trump will sit down for an interview on MSNBC.

  40. Horrible idea. Run nonstop attack ads about j6, COVID, trump’s chaos while in office. You think she’s going to change a SINGLE fox viewer’s mind? Cannon fodder for trump ads is what you’re going to get. SMH
