There are armed militias saying that Hurricane has been planned to meddle with election and are targeted on states like Florida, you cannot make this up. This country keeps digging itself to whole another dumbassary.

When citizens are threatening the very people there to help them you know we have failed as a nation.

MAGAts so eager to back up their cult leader’s lies that they will not only refuse help but even threaten the people offering help so that no one can benefit.

I remember the story of the Good Samaritan. The Samaritan comes to help and an armed militia comes to threaten them.

This kind of thing will only get worse if Trump wins.

    VOTE BLUE!💙🇺🇸🌊💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸🌊🇺🇸💙

These people are being manipulated. The Republicans are actively trying to torpedo the Biden admin’s response, at a time when coming together to deal with a profoundly shitty situation is what’s called for.

Mike Johnson won’t even reconvene the House early to push more aid through. Because, you know, he’s a hyper-partisan scumbag, and lets not forget all the assholes who voted *against* bumping funding for FEMA, three days before Helene made landfall.

On top of that, you have misinfo telling the (already scared) people in the devastated areas, that the Government will seize their homes if they accept aid from FEMA. Hence why FEMA workers are being confronted by armed militias. Armed fucking militias, to deny government aid.

Republicans and those conspiring with/for Trump are all sub-human filth, that are actively fucking people over for the sake of political gains.

  8. This is exactly what happened during the pandemic with people threatening and attacking healthcare workers. This is all Trump’s fault. Anyone who votes for that man needs to understand they’ve been duped. The actual people who are hired to care for us in times of need are being attacked, and a millionaire who is known for being selfish and would not lift a finger for you is winning. Make it make sense.

  9. An entire political party headed by a cult leader is actively sabotaging disaster recovery. You can’t make this shit up. And now the the spineless cowards won’t condemn their footsoldiers on the ground

What in the hell is wrong with people? Way to go Trump spreading hate to the point that those that need help can’t even get help.

I’m so sick of this fucking pattern. Trump or other right wingers lie about some group of people; those people get death threats when they’re just trying to fucking live their lives and help others.

  12. shineonyoucrazies on

I sure hope all the red hats supporting magadump take some time out of your busy day and thank the big orange guy for this one. I’m sure this is really helping all those people in need of assistance.

Reminds me of how public health officials and healthcare workers were treated during Covid – not initially, but once it became irresponsibly politicized.

I think Fauci is still getting death threats.

i feel like this is the new normal. i don’t see how these radicalized people will ever go away. they’re forever going to reject any fact that they don’t like, whether it’s a hurricane or the election

  15. ZombieDad15 on

Then they will say “ there’s no aid”
We are destroying ourselves from the inside. Great job everyone

    >On Saturday, FEMA workers had to halt their work in Rutherford County, southeast of Asheville, due to reports that National Guard troops saw “armed militia” threatening FEMA workers, according to the Washington Post, which cited an email to federal agencies helping with the response, verified by unnamed federal officials.

Armed militia, WTF?? Can we stop this?

  17. Everything Trump touches turns to shit. I’m so tired of worrying what stupid thing he’ll say next that will negatively impact our country.

  18. I mean these people should be locked up and in prison for these threats but we all know that Garland is a pussy ass crack job AG who hides his tail in between his legs and takes cover in a dark basement somewhere covering his ears.

Republicans: “The government hates you and you should resist them.”

Also Republicans “There’s no urgency for more funding.”

Also Republicans: “Why isn’t the government helping more?”

  20. Dariawasright on

Send in the Army. Protect FEMA and if these right wing militias attack, wipe them out. This isn’t something we should put up with. The government has to be able to operate.

  21. B00marangTrotter on

Fuck any reports calling this misinformation. This is disinformation and it is by design and those responsible should be arrested on domestic terrorism charges.

Looking at you Merrick Garland to get off your ass.

This one has drawn a line in the sand for me. Anyone perpetuating these lies while claiming to be standing up for the people who lost everything is dead to me. I’m actively cutting people off over this IRL.

If you want to be a gullible moron addicted to a foreign adversary manipulating you over your SM feed then go right ahead, I’m out.

  23. OneSeaworthiness7768 on

Only terrorists threaten aid and relief efforts. Call a spade a spade.

  24. Trumpforce at it again.

    Respond. Investigate. Arrest. Jail.

This is American rights and freedoms. Let’s defend them with a heavy hand.

  25. Can’t help but think how much “maga influencers” being incentivized to lie on X fuelled this. They straight up lie and make crazy statements in hope of going viral so they can get paid – and these tweets about FEMA in NC have been going crazy, 10-20 million views with absolutely no fact checking, and the MAGAs in the replies just blindly believing the lies. I saw one tweet with 10 million views last week literally telling people to form armed militia because FEMA was planning to take all their houses away. That’s really scary.

  26. Pink_Fairies_Fanclub on

This should be a top story. The militias should be hunted. If members are caught threatening FEMA, make examples of them.

  27. All going according to the fascist Project 2025 plan.

First make their ignorant, fox brained, incapable of independent thought, minions think that FEMA is a left wing, democratic agency that is going to kill good, God-fearing Americans so that when Project 2025 is put in place, there won’t be any uproar by those who need that assistant the most- owning the libs and all.

Next, they come for the Dept of Education so that they can ensure that the only allowed curriculum will be indoctrination of Chistian nationalism. Forget your children or grandchildren being able to a real education or college, only those born to the rich will have that option.

Protection for workers will be dismantled, no minimum wage, workers comp. etc. and they will still not be finished. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security will be abolished, can’t give anyone the ability to retire – the top 1% must be supported by everyone else.

I’ve never been so happy to be old.

  28. If people are threatening FEMA they should be treated as terrorists.

  29. Morepastor on

Do your job Garland. Send the force and stop these people from threatening Federal employees from helping Americans because some shady Sheriff and MAGA Politicians are telling dangerous lies about Federal employees.

It’s not clear if the threat was credible.

The only reason this occurred, is because of the baseless lies of Donald Trump

  31. See a YouTube news clip about this and the comments pissed me off so much. One of my closest friends just got sent to Texas. She sign up to be deployed and literally had 3 days to get her shit together and go live in a hotel room and work 12hr shifts everyday and these people are threatening to harm people trying to help them…

  32. BJJGrappler22 on

Let me guess, the people making the threats are Trump supporters?

Militia groups should be outlawed. Where is Janet Reno when you need her?

Republicans pointing guns at fema workers so they don’t help: THEY ARENT HELPING BECAUSE WE’RE REPUBLICAN

  35. MarcusQuintus on

Holy fuck. Undecideds, is this what you want?
You can hate every one of Harris’ policies, but where are we if disaster relief agencies are being threatened when trying to do their jobs.
    Vote for sanity.

  36. The Trump-verse has told me FEMA isn’t even there. Weird that they were able to find them to threaten them.

Maybe having seen the FEMA workers with their own eyes a rational person would realize they were lied to. But then again a cult isn’t usually defined by rationale.

  37. MAGA conservatism is cancer. These people would die for their twisted narrative.
