    >Just ahead, intriguingly, of the November elections, the U.S. military has granted itself permission to unleash “lethal force” on the civilian population in cases of “national security” emergency.

  2. Quite underreported is the executive branch’s ordering of troops to DC before and during the Jan 6th protest/greatest attack on democracy in human history (depending upon whom you ask). The top brass decided to not follow the presidential orders or the DOD secretaries orders to be prepared to mobilize just in case, and the mobilize should anything happen.

I wonder why the pentagon would do that.?..

Furthermore, Obama made it legal for troops to kill Americans on American soil during the war a on terror. A war that (checks notes) has not, nor Will ever end. In fairness, Obama’s power to make this decision was enabled during W. Bush’s presidency by the Homeland security act. Obama made more presidential executive decisions during his presidency than any president before or since. The power to kill Americans using, well Americans, was enabled by Bush’s signature (and Congress that wrote the bill) but put into reality by former president Barack Hussein Obama. The Homeland Security department’s ability to classify anyone as a terrorist, and then kill said terrorist was enabled by bipartisan legislation by separate presidential orders.

It’s a directive that has been out since at least 1982. It’s about conducting intelligence activities while preserving the rights of Americans.

The lethal force part is in self-defense, something every person in the US has a right to.

Posse Commitatus is law. This directive is policy. Posse Commitatus prohibits the US military (except USCG and certain National Guard activities) from engaging in law enforcement activities on US soil.

This isn’t a conspiracy. You’re just fear mongering.
