China does this every once in a while. It’s a nothing burger.

Just like how the US and South Korea do joint drills every few months.

I continue to have suspicion that the CCP is doing the very best and most accurate polling regarding the upcoming US POTUS election.

I speculate that if Harris wins, their “drills” and “training exercises” and whatnot will ramp up at a controlled pace, waiting for us to be dragged into other things that are getting hotter these day. BUT, on their schedule, they’ll do a Hong Kong on ’em.

If Trump wins, they have a deadline of January 20th, 2025, somewhere around 1 p.m. EST to act. And act, they will. Quickly. I speculate that the “drills” and “exercises” will “accidentally” go a bit too far, eliciting a response, and then the pincer move to Hong Kong ’em without care or concern for additional retaliation, definitely sooner than later.

“Drills” and “exercises” are dress rehearsals for a helluva show.

The business model that the White House learned from the Ukraine war and the the Israel war together has been proven lucrative.

The White House needs to expand this business model to other territories.

    Might as well.

Capitalists use Taiwan anyhow for cheap labor and profits

I hope people realize most of the world is dirt poor and have very boring and difficult and not needed jobs like creating toys

    Nope.

You’d see months of troop and supply buildup on China’s coastline well in advance.

Don’t be silly, there are no economic benefits to either side to start a war, both China and Taiwan would have their industries decimated by a conflict, what Chinese people want to do is just to make money and sell you decent to good products at fair prices and conquer the world markets with their products. When China reaches same level of wealth and development as Taiwan and the US empire collapses they will probably re-unite peacefully without any problems, they are the same people and have the same culture and have no problems uniting as long as it doesn’t affect their bottom ends(money). Only reason there are hostilities there is because of US military presence(occupation) and the pro-US faction of Taiwan running their government, allowing themselves to be a brick in the US chessplay for world dominance. It is really that simple. The CCP already have in their plan that the two countries will peacefully reunite by the mid or late century of the 2000s, there is no rush whatsoever.

Edit: Also the US government sails warships through the straits of Taiwan all the time. They also recognize Taiwan as a part of China. Taiwan also claims airspace above the Chinese mainland as part of their territorial defense, forcing airplanes to identify themselves to not be shot down. China isn’t the aggressor, lol.
